For those who observe, will your menu change from traditional fare?
I noticed some online etailers are out of hams. Whole turkeys in short supply, too. I had considered Honey Baked for a minute then I realized OH, no family dinner this year! Just me and DS at the dinner table.
I have steaks in the freezer. Some frozen veggies and I'll make fresh bread or rolls. No idea for dessert yet.
How have your menu and plans changed this year?

I honestly don't even know when Easter is......

I haven't done my weekly grocery shopping yet, but I didn't know if they would have anything, so I ordered matzoh from Amazon!

The matzo prices on Amazon are a little crazy and delivery is later than wed. My hubby is going out shopping early this week so I am hoping he can get one box for us for the 8 days

Yes. We will have our big family Easter later, when it is safe to do so. I usually get a nice spiral sliced ham from a local butcher. But not this Easter.
I have a small pork roast that I will cook. It will just be me and Mr 4kitties. I will make home made yeast rolls and a frozen veggie, maybe broccoli, to go with. Not sure about what potatoes.

My sister and I were going to go out for Easter, but that now has changed. Easter would also have been my late mother's birthday and in her later years the 3 of us woud go out to lunch. I guess the 2 coinciding won't happen again in my life time.

We'll probably have our big Easter dinner for our son's birthday, The weekend around May 18 if it's safe. If not, we'll do it when it IS safe.![]()
We love the brown sugar spiral sliced hams. I usually do the potato salad, deviled eggs, green beans, maybe sliced carrots, and some roasted Brussels sprouts with fresh mushrooms. Maybe rosemare garlic bread.
I never do two starchy vegetables.

Our favorite restaurant is doing takeout for Easter. I ordered Caesar salad, 2 Delmonico steaks, medium well, creamed corn, creamed spinach, potatoes and cheesecake for desert. I'll pick it up next Sunday.

@Snowpuppy You can get a small honey baked type ham from Trader Joe's. We have had them in the past and they are quite good. If it's just for 2 people you can get an "end" from Honey Baked Ham but only in the stores. There is plenty of the sliced section left for a couple of meals and I use the rest for split pea soup.

Plans have changed immensely - as in, NO PLANS.
My family and I will continue to comply with mandated “Stay At Home” order and will celebrate many things (missed birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations and Easter) until my daughter, oldest granddaughter and grandson are furloughed from their COVID-19 commitments at their hospitals and pended isolation periods.
Can’t wait for that day...
