Thanks Sharke!  I just copied the recipe and named them "Sharke" cookies!

@SharkE. I'm with you in prefering raisins but I'd also leave off the salt.  Sounds good.

Waiting for our blizzard to start and it appears to be coming......Feel sorry for people who have to travel.  Sounds like things may get bad.

Calls for............salt free butter

and then add sea salt

Salts are different I realize - but I'd use regular butter and just not add more.(salt)

P.S. don't make cookies

@SharkE, thanks for the recipe (and enlarging!).  Looks like a plan for tomorrow.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

Yeah, next time I make I will lose the salt on top . Have to put a little in or don't taste right, but, on the top either leave plain or a sprinkle of that fancy coarse sugar.

I found a recipe for something else that calls for 'kosher salt', so , now, got to find that LOL

I like that 'fine sea salt' in cookies better then table salt. Can buy it at the Wal Mart guess I can buy 'kosher', also, there.

In early morning on the side streets had little ice. I found that out when I made a left turn off my street and my Kia twirled around on me. I over corrected and got it back on the street and nobody was coming thank God.   It was melted off by noon though.

Got out and got what I'd need before the next prediction will hit, Sat. they said chance of snow. I won't have to worry about the stampede

LOL

@SharkE   It's snowing here now.  We're under a blizzard warning.  Nobody including Natl Weather Svc. can remember last time that happened.  Predicted winds of 50-60mph early in the morning.
