Good Housekeeping Cookie Press

I can't believe that thing is still around.  I remember my mother having one and I had one when I got married in the 70's and it was the hardest thing to work.

I loved mine and was a whizz at using it.  May pick up the oxo one and see if I still got it.

I've been doing much research.  America's Test Kitchen recommends Marcato brand made in Italy.

My mom would make cheese straws with these. They were so good. I need to get one!

I'll bet I have at least 6 of these. They are in a box and we get them at Christmas time! We love the little cookies--especially the ginger and spice ones shaped like camels.

Re: Good Housekeeping Cookie Press

The "spritz cookies" made with these cookie presses are still a very popular item at our holiday gatherings! I love my OXO press; it is sturdy and simple and works well. I'm always meaning to try it for cheese straws, but I've been so converted to cheese coins that I often forget the straws.
