Had to grin at your post. In high school, I'd get together on Friday nights with a friend at her house while her very busy socialite parents were off doing their usual partying.
We'd get out a box of Chef Boy-Ar-Dee pizza crust mix, cut up some frankfurters, put tomato sauce and some cheese on top, and have us a grand old pizza night. Oh my, those were the days!!
I don't eat many frozen pizzas, but do like the Primo thin crust pizza brand, especially the Primo Supreme version with "everything".
If a pizza isn't a crispy-thin-crust type, I don't care for it at all.
Lots of dough and thick crust takes all the appeal away.

We actually DO like DiGiorno's. Always have on hand in case of 'don't feel like cooking, late snack, or pizza craving'. Our order-out preference is the 8 corner JETS cheese and pepperoni for him, veggies for me. But yes, in a pinch we can enjoy a DiGiornio. I also like California Pizza kitchen white pizza. Tried the Oprah 'Oooh that's good' brand with the cauliflower crust and it was just ok.

Oh, the Chef Boy R Dee pizza takes me waaaaay back. When I was growing up my parents hardly went out. When they did, it was a couple they were close with and they would go out to eat and to a movie. It was always a nature family feature like Swiss Family Robinson or that type, But those were the nights my siblings and I got to make the pizza and have kool aid with 7up in it. We loved those nights!

@Toppers3 I agree about Home Run Inn pizzas, they are the best regional brand. Di Giorno is a good national brand.

I think frozen pizzas are, by and large, much better than they used to be. And, oftentimes, they're a good value. I prefer the thin crust varieties - not as much bread. My favorite brand is Dr. Oetker's Virtuoso Pizza, but I also like Di Giorno, Freschetta, and even Wegmans' store brand. The Acme store brand is also good.

I don't eat pizza often but the last time I bought a frozen one the grocery store had Newman's Own pizza on sale and I got the pepperoni one. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. It has the best sauce and loads of pepperoni. They also have a cheese with I think 4 cheeses that I will get and add my own toppings.

I buy whatever fresh pizza I like, local or Papa John's. Anything leftover, I freeze individual slices and then heat them in my toaster oven.....just like fresh. I don't cook much anymore, either. Husband has dementia and has no appetite, He will only eat small amounts of anything, like a piece of cake and one of his nutritional drinks or a White Castle hamburger. If I prepare a full meal, he'll look at it and say he doesn't feel good and push it away. So why bother cooking? Sad,but that is now the way it is.

We make our own frozen pizza. Just make up a big batch of crust, then partially bake and top with the sauce, cheese, protein whatever. I bought some cheap pizza pans at the dollar tree so we put the topped pizzas on those, double wrap with foil and freeze. They can then be baked just as any frozen pizza either in the pan or on a stone.

Any type of pizza would have to be really bad for me not to like it. However, I now limit myself as to how often I have it so when I do, I splurge and get it from my favorite local pizza place (and it's pricey).

I don't know if you have Safeway grocery stores in your area, but if you do, you might like their Signature brand thin crust pizzas. They bake up in about 12 minutes at 400 degrees in my electric oven, and the carb count for a third of the pizza is typically in the 24-28 grams per serving. That's enough pizza to feel like you actually ATE some pizza, and they have a pretty good variety of toppings, even a decent margherita that I usually add bacon crumbles to, so the doggoes enjoy it more.
