HSN has an electric, Curtis Stone grill/griddle. It looks familiar, (Wolfie, perhaps). Anyhow, I think his last TSV was a Vegamatic rip off chopper thing that got bad reviews. So, if anyone's interested in this Made in China electrical appliance-enjoy!

I have an abundance of all kinds of indoor electric grills (I'm an appliance junkie, LOL), so I'll be passing on this one. It looks like a nice one, though.

Good grief! What the heck is the purpose of such a smack in the face post?

I just want people to know all the facts about this TSV. What did I say that wasn't true? The Curtis Stone chopper TSV was very disappointing according to the reviews. I would hate for someone to have high expectations about today's TSV.

What facts? Wolfgang's products are made in China too. Unless you have actually bought and used this grill, you have no FACTS to present.

I bought 2 of those TSV choppers. 1 for me, 1 for my daughter and they have been working perfectly for us and they get almost daily use. I bought this to replace my genius chopper system that was working well (actually gave it to my dil), but had become difficult for me to use because of arthritis in hands and wrists.

The majority of complaints about the chopper were because it was damaged in shipping - mine (and others who posted here) got ours a bit later and they were extremely well packaged and arrived safe and sound. Other significant complaint was that it was claimed that everything stored inside the unit, and a few of the pieces didn't - not an issue for me.

Gee can you check out the shopping network too, just in case no one is smart enough to know what they're ordering?

My facts are that it IS made in China,( I don't care for WP junk, either). There were many bad reviews about that chopper, you acknowledged the bad reviews yourself. IMO: Curtis Stone's reputation is worthless. I don't have to own the TSV grill to know it's probably poor quality based on previous products. If anyone wants to take a chance on this grill/griddle combo-knock yourself out. It looks like another potential recall in the future, much like the WP Panini grill. Probably the same factory.

I'm so tired of people who assume that anything made in China is junk. Please go through your whole house and throw out everything made in China and I'm sure you'll find not much left. Don't forget to go through your car(s), because even if you buy an American car, it's full of parts made in China, including parts that keep you safe, like airbag sensors.

I've got many items from China. Who doesn't. My 'issues' are that the last Curtis Stone TSV chopper was a real piece of garbage. Check out the reviews for item # 236-149, IMO, his reputation, based on that- has been severely tarnished. Anyone thinking about this grill, should consider his previous products.
