I do some shopping with Evine and have noticed that since the name change a couple years ago, the s/h prices have gone up ALOT. So if you buy 3 items, it can be close to $20 for shipping. That's what I count before I order. Also---they have a few times,  charged me the $ that their return label costs even tho I sent it back  myself, at a much cheaper cost. So whenever I return stuff, I email CS that I am returning and tell them I am paying the return myself so don't charge me again. Then I also put that on my return invoice as well.

I have bought a few things there but I guess I never noticed but when I pushed the value pay selection, the recording said they would run a credit report?  What the hay?  I understand they want to make sure you can pay for it but it's my understanding that every time a credit report is run, it will affect your credit rating.  Is that true?

If you like the size and can get the color you want, I'd encourage you to buy it.  My air fryer came from QVC and I use it a lot.  If I had a convection oven, then I would not have purchased it.

I run credit every day on customers and credit cannot actually be run without your Social Security # - Why would Evine have your SS# ?-Perhaps they are checking you against some "list" of folks who have previous non payment based on your name and address? If indeed your credit is run, and declined  you should receive a letter from  Experian, Transunion,   bank etc telling you so, and , the reason why..whether "running" your credit afffects your credit score. actually that depends on WHY the credit was run.... Are you applying for lots of credit cards? then yes, it can, because there is  (in simple terms) a thought that you might be, for some reason, going to get a bunch of credit cars  and charge them up to simplif.. is a landlord running it for a possible rental, then probably no- When shopping for cars, your credit granting agencies knows that you might "shop around" so a couple won't usually matter.. (though car dealers will tell you it WILL, because they do not WANT you to go somewhere else and buy there) If your credit is very strong, it doesnt affect it as much as if it is weak..

Ok ladies, not trying to start trouble here, but has anyone taken the time to read reviews on Evine and how really awful their customer service is?  I used to purchase from them and had items on auto-delivery.  My credit card was compromised last year around the holidays and I was issued a new one.  I called and gave them my new information and an explanation of why I was changing cards.  They went ahead and kept charging my old credit card and eventually had a collection agency contact me.  Not Evine, but a collection agency.  I promptly paid the charges that were due, but now I am not allowed to purchase anything on Value Pay.  When I contacted Customer Service about this, they were rude and hung up on me.  And, NO, I was not being rude.  According to Yelp (not sure how reliable they are), as I don't visit their site often.  I'm merely bringing this to the forefront here and relaying my experiences with Evine.  I shopped with them for a long time and this is how I was treated even when I did the right thing and it was their own fault they didn't receive my payments.

@Texussgal I must gree with you on this- I have had a couple of really bad customer service experiences  with them as well.. and when I say bad, I mean really bad.. things that never got resolved..even after months..

Of course I  have had negative experiences at other shopping netweors, but considering how little I buy on Evine, and how many times BAD has happened, I would say, at least in my experience,  it is more common there than on other sites..

Thank you MT.  I know exactly what you mean.  I've had issues with other networks also, but Evine is by far the worst one I have ever dealt with.  Must be nice to have soooo many customers that you can be so very rude to ones who have been with you over the years and through all the name changes.  Oh well, if they don't care, then I don't care.  It will save me money in the long run.
