Wow, you are full of yourself here. Power? Seriously, you jump in with all this over an innocent easy pay thread that could have been fun. Sure there are compulsive shoppers and I guess no one should sell anything to save them.

And copy and paste off the internet isn't quite the same as personal experience. Well deserved, hardly.

I am speaking from personal experience debc, as I outlined above relative to conversing with the Elder Attorney I hired, when my Mother needed my help and intervention, and could no longer live safely in her own home.

She was blessed and followed the old school trend of thought which enabled her, to work hard, and save to invest wisely, and have more than enough during her retirement.

That Elder Attorney told us horrific true stories of what he encountered relative to elders and over spending, and having ghastly enormous credit card debts, Mortgage debts, and the like with no other means to continue to make their monthly financial obligations payments.

Those stories were really horrifically sad.

Something I would have done anything to avoid at all cost.

Again debc you are entitled to post whatever you wish as your own personal opinion, and I will continue to wholeheartedly support you, provided you are correct in all your observations, especially when they pertain to me{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}.

I will admit adoreqvc does have a point. I attend a lot of auctions and it is shocking to see so much merchandise from QVC. Most of the contents are from Estates of family members who have passed away. They unearth a collection of beauty products, clothing, cooking supplies and, of course my favorite, jewelry.

I came to this thread hoping to see what people purchased - a long time ago it used to be fun.

LOL, when I croak there will be a lot of Q stuff. Wonder if they'll wonder if I was one of those poor people who couldn't control spending? Smiley Wink We have a Walmart here, most of my shopping is here and Amazon. I have a long way to go to do a Costco shopping trip, it's not even in the same state. Once every month or 2.

My husband laughs when I get something from Q, he says let me guess "Easy pay"?

A little over the top adore. This is a food chat board, not a self help group. While some of us might need help I doubt your qualified to give it.

And between the bold, large print and jumping from all caps back and forth, your post is extremely annoying.

Ditto and so is she! ITA also with your other post #20.

Well I bought 2 sets of those click and carry things, purple and blue. It shows they shipped one and not the other. LOL, I've never had anything shipped separately when I've ordered more than one of the same item. I find that weird. Especially since I'll probably get them in a box that will hold a case of them. {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Adoreqvc, point well made. There should be a balance on one's spending. QVC had designed it so that when they do offer easy pay, there will be those who have longed for certain items and may go overboard with their spending. It's a sale tactic. I like looking at "pretty things", especially jewelry. When I did use QVC easy pay it was one item,once a year. All purchases were debit cards not credit cards. Now I only buy something for monies I save for with "for me gifts"

It's ridiculous to hold QVC to task for easy pay. All shopping networks have some kind of easy pays. Credit cards are worse as they charge interest if not paid off. People who get advances on their paychecks, borrow money to buy something, the list goes on and on. None of them are responsible for people who over spend.

As many threads as she's been bashed in (think the veal thread) you'd think she'd have a little consideration before coming in this thread and removing any fun that there could have been.
