@house_cat Can you share where you have purchased these, I do not recall every seeing these?

@CareBears

It's called a cobbler's apron.

They are readily available through Amazon, Carol Wright and several other merchandisers.  The forum won't permit me to post a link, but you shouldn't have any problem finding them.  They last virtually forever and have big pockets for all that stuff you need to have within easy reach.

With today's modern detergents, there aren't many stains that won't come out.  I just cook in my daily jeans and tops, nothing I'd worry about getting clean.

I wear an apron to do ALL housework, just as my Mom always did. Saves a lot of clothes. I usually keep my apron on while I eat and I have saved some clothes from disasters then too. (ie - dripped spaghetti sauce).

No, I've never worn an apron, but as I've grown older, I realize that I could benefit from wearing a bib.

Yes....because sometime no matter how careful I try to be, I get a stain on my top...

Me too! It would be counterproductive to spoil everyone's appetite after spending hours cooking a meal. 😱

[ Edited ]

Always when I'm really cooking...not just heating up or boiling water.

A full apron, tied in the front with a small towel tucked in the ties for wiping my hands.

A small pocket on the apron is nice, too.
