I was watching him a little today and to tell the truth, I was getting an upset stomach.

He was running around, talking fast, spinning around, doing the happy dance.

All the while eating bite after bite of meatloaf, banana cream pudding, lobster, Corky's ribs, mac and cheese, etc.

I'm sure there was a lot more and a lot after I watched.

I kept waiting for him to puke.

He should be careful or he might choke.

I do like David, but I think that maybe he should tone it down a little, just for his own good.

Ditto. The combinations of food is awful. He talks way too fast, but I'm sure he is directed to do that since all the hosts do it. I've always liked him as a host, but I can't watch for too long now. I notice he is distracted/making errors also. Too many "happy dances" too.

I love watching ITKWD, probably because I rarely get to do it. I suppose the viewer can be burned out on it as well as the host.

I noticed that the show has become a bit of a three-ring circus, with the host cooking, discussing recipes, presenting products, accepting phone calls, asking trivia questions, dealing with social media and being whisked from set to set, outdoors and indoors. With so much to coordinate, David is probably being barked at through his headset more often than not. It has to be very hard to keep all those balls in the air at the same time. If anyone needs to calm down, it's the producers who are creating a circus.

I agree. He seems to be turning into a robot.

David needs to switch to decaf and take up yoga or walking to help with stress....he seems very stressed-out for whatever reason but his health could be in at risk... he is not as young as he used to be...time to treat himself better!

Im also concerned about David's health. There was a posting last month about people noticing a subtle friction between him and Bob Warden -- now this. I did not see the show today but I believe the rigors of his schedule may be catching up to him. He needs a good relaxing weekend at the beach. If it is stress related, perhaps David needs to stop and smell the roses. I also have a suspicion that the hosts are getting bored presenting the same products over and over.

It's plain to see he just isn't enjoying himself anymore like he used to.

David is a true southern gentleman, the likes of which you just dont see very often these days, but if he is stressed he needs to speak up to management about it. Many corporations have programs in place to combat workplace fatigue. It also could be weather related: a brutal winter that is only now ending. David has proclaimed in the past he is not on speaking terms with mother nature. He obviously prefers warmer weather. It could be seasonal disorder.
