DUPE FOR HERNANDEZ GUACAMOLE SALSA

[ Edited ]

I found this recipe to make my own guacamole salsa quickly. I like organic, so I make or buy an organic VERDE SALSA as the base.  Then do the following.......

Ingredients

  • 3/4 - 1 cup salsa verde (pre made, or home made)
  • 2 ripe avocados peeled & pits removed
  • 1 jalapeno seeded & stem removed
  • 1/2 white or yellow onion roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic, sometimes I add more
  • 1 bunch cilantro lower stems cut off
  • 1 lime juiced, about 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a high powdered blender.
  • Process until smooth & creamy.
  • Serve warm or chilled with chips.
  • I serve chilled.  Keeps  4 days or more sealed well  but it's usually gone sooner lol.

Thanks so much for this recipe! I am obsessed with this salsa! My Yuka app says it is "bad" due to all the additives in it. So happy I can make my own now! Woman Happy

Oooohhh--I like adding the green salsa! I made an avocado ranch dressing last night for my grilled chicken burritos that was pretty tasty. Think I will print out this recipe---thanks!!!!
