Has anyone used the glassware in an air fryer?

I have not personally used glass in my air fryer but have looked into doing so.  Borosilicate and tempered glass can be used in an air fryer according to numerous articles I've read.

However, it is not recommended to take either glass from the refrigerator to the air fryer and foods in both will need additional cooking time.

If I tried it, I'd have a plan in advance on how to get the hot glass bowl out of the fryer.  Most don't have much room to navigate.  8 even have trouble flipping a grilled sandwich.

@Imaoldhippie   Yes I use it to make a small meatloaf. No problems. Of course the glass gets hot, so I just use regular pot holders. My air fryer is an Instant Pot with shelves, not a basket type fryer.

@Kachina624,  I've found that a fish turner/spatula works best in my air fryer.

They are a bit bulky but I can't count the times my Ove Gloves have saved me from burns not only to my fingers but also the back of my hands or wrists.

As a note I've tried other brands and IMO they can't compare to the original Ove Glove.

@grandma2pkmh ...........I dont know if the LNL that I have is made with Bromocililate , there is no info on the bottom of the dish.  I am very hesitant to use it.  I have an air fryer with french doors and shelves.

@Imaoldhippie.  If it wasn't sold as bakeware, I wouldn't try it.  You need something like Pyrex, not a food storage container.

@Imaoldhippie   Most Lock&Lock Glass is made of borosilicate glass.

Chris Pryme was always proud of that fact. I have some of the very 1st glass dishes and have used most in the air fryer. You should not have a problem. Most go up to 500 degrees, some 750 degrees.
