No cookie jar, and only when the VA is giving them away, will you find a cookie in this house.

I have a few Temptations canisters in various sizes, colors, and patterns that would work for a cookie jar but I haven't used them for such yet.  Currently using one of the smaller canisters in red polka dot pattern, no longer available on the Q, to hold Benefiber powder.  I have an expensive Polish Pottery canister that I use for tea bags.  All of my canisters have a silicon seal around the lids.

As others have mentioned, unless you take the time to individually wrap the cookies, you'll have a cute jar of stale goodies.
