Do you use one? Pioneer Woman, Anchor Hocking., figural? I donated mine years ago but have been thinking about getting a small one.

They're cute to set on a counter or island but not really practical as most are not air tight.

Yes, I have a couple of floral motif Temp-tations cookie jars. One is always stocked with dog biscuits on top of the fridge.

I do, but I wrap each cookie in saran wrap before I put it in the jar. I have two cookie jars, one is a figural and the other one is an actual jar for biscotti.

i dont put cookies in them unless they are individually wrapped.

I've had many over the years because I thought they were cute, however I have to agree with @Kachina624 , none were air tight, to keep the cookies fresh.
Since they didn't serve their purpose, they were just big knick knacks that I didn't have countertop space for I donated them.

Takes up too much real estate. Plus the older I get I only want necessary stuff used daily out. I put cookies in a lock n lock in a cabinet.

1 glass jar with metal bail filled with homemade biscotti. If it gets a little hard or rather harder - a second dumk will do ya! Oh, did I mentioned it was from Disneyworld a gazillion years ago - so it holds good memories.

@traveler I used to collect cookie jars but never kept anything in them because they weren't air tight. Now I have a few on a baker's rack, but the rest are in my garage. I'll probably donate them.
I do have two cookie jars in use. One is a large pottery cookie jar from Spain that I bought years ago. I keep Greenie's in it for my dog. I've used it for this purpose for over ten years. The other is a glass MacKenzie-Child's cookie jar that I keep k-cups in. I bought it for that purpose.

I really like cookie jars. Not for putting cookies in them, but I used to collect them. I collected Disney cookies jars. I must have about 75, maybe more. In my old house, I could display just about all of them on the ledge way up in my kitchen. Now, I can have about 10 out at a time. I have a very large and very heavy Christopher Radko Disney cookie jar that I bring out every Christmas. I just enjoy them so much.
