Do you even have one? If you do, what do you have?

We do. Ham.

We do. My sons' families spend Christmas Eve and part of Christmas day with their wives' family. We get together for Chistmas at my youngest son's house at about 4:00. We have hors'dorves and wine while the kids open their gifts. We have what we call dinner at about 6:00. It is usually ham, turkey, or prime rib cooked by the hosting couple. Everyone else brings a few sides to share. My husband and I live close to all of our kids, so we get to be with them often at the grandkids games and activities.

I do Christmas Eve, so my kids & their families don't have to juggle as much on Christmas Day.
I have done different things. Lasagna, breakfast for dinner, turkey & fixings again...not sure what to do this year.
My daughter, SIL & their 3 boys are basically vegan, so it's making my holiday cooking a little different.
I either have to have her bring their own food or makes sure that I have things to offer them, too.
The rest of the family likes our regular food really well, so I don't want to limit them, either.
It's a good thing that they are cute.

What is breakfast for dinner?

Christmas Eve we open gifts up here and it's pizza, baked ziti, breadsticks, anything simple including simple snacks. Soda, spritzers, etc.
Christmas dinner, usually a Honey Baked turkey breast or Honey Baked ham & sides.

@Group 5 minus 1- I would assume this could include any of the following:
*bacon, sausage, ham
*some type of egg casserole
*muffins, coffeecake, breads, monkey bread
*hash brown casserole or fried potatoes
*some type of french toast casserole or french toast
*mixed fruit
*juice

Hey QG, et al!
Now, pardon me but I'm not certain if 'supper' means lunch or dinner. For lunch I have never done anything. It's just the two of us.
For a dinner, I have been doing a ham, mashed sweet potatoes, and a veg. But this year, due to my broken arm, I got out of both Thanksgiving and christmas dinners, because there is no way I could manage it.
So, nothing planned this time. I hope I don't get spoiled from not having to do a bunch of cooking this year, when next year's holiday season rolls around. ![]()

We have pot luck at my sister's house if they dont go anywhere. If it's only me and hubby we will go to the Christmas buffet at the casino.

Traditionally, our family prefers an assortment of finger foods and appetizer type stuff rather than a big dinner. This year our get together is going to be shorter than it's been in the past so I wanted to to something simpler. I decided to do a soup supper and dessert. I'll make an assortment (probably 4 kinds) of soup and get some fresh bread from the bakery to go along with it. I still need to figure out what to make for dessert.
