Re: Cheryl's Cookies--What A Disappointment

I've been saying this for years ever since they brought Cheryl's cookies to qvc. These things are AWFUL!!!!! Quite honestly I'm surprised she's still in business.

Re: Cheryl's Cookies--What A Disappointment

That's too bad, but I guess not everyone can like the same things. I've always enjoyed Cheryl's Cookies and was even on A/D for about 1 1/2 years. I've ordered single shipments several times since. Well, at least you know now and can find something else to your liking. Smile

Re: Cheryl's Cookies--What A Disappointment

If you have a little bakery in your area, wouldn't it be nicer to support a local business by purchasing cookies and brownies there?

I know people are too busy to bake, but I know in our area all the churches have wonderful cookie sales to support good causes, and the cookies are so delicious!

Not criticizing anyone who likes Cheryl's, but there are many other options for those who want a different option.

Re: Cheryl's Cookies--What A Disappointment

I've ordered and sent as gifts many times Cheryl's cookies. I've frozen them and eaten them months later. They were as fresh as if they'd just been received.

the OP is right. They are very sweet. I think it's because they use good ingredients.

They definitely aren't the thing to eat if you want to consume a lot of cookies at one time (you'd get sick).

They ARE wonderful if you eat one with a cup of tea, coffee (or my favorite) a cold glass of milk for a treat.

Re: Cheryl's Cookies--What A Disappointment

This year someone gave me a gift of an ornament filled with a few miniature cookies inside. I've been tempted for years, but I was so disappointed in the taste & texture. I wouldn't purchase after this sample.

Re: Cheryl's Cookies--What A Disappointment

If the OP or anyone ordered them from QVC and were that disappointed I sincerely hope they called Customer Service and got their money back.

As I said, I like Cheryl's cookies. Would I consume more than one at a time? No.

I ordered (and received) Mrs Prindables at Christmas. My family wouldn't eat them because of the caramel apple scare (whatever).

I called CS and told them. They said "No problem" and refunded my money.

They would do that if someone ordered Cheryl's Cookies and really disliked them. QVC backs up their cookies.

I've also had problems (stale) with David's Cookies. I called HSN and they also refunded my money.

Annabellethecat, I'm the OP. Unfortunately I ordered the cookies from Cheryl's. Now I wish I'd ordered them from QVC.

I had a problem with cookies ordered directly from Cheryl's too. They were a gift, and I wish they had been ordered from QVC. Cheryl's CS was awful!
