Has anyone heard anything about this? Recall due to blades breaking off and fire hazard reported.

@Tall Nurse 1 @There's a post in the Community Chat with details. Its from yesterday. It's for BlendJet2, but not for the new one that was sold here on special last week. You can look at the post I just mentioned or google BlendJet 2 recall and go to the Consumer Product Safety Commission site that shows up with your results.

@Tall Nurse 1 Yes! I just came on here to see if anyone started a thread. There is a recall that I just found out about today. I have a few BlendJet2 blenders I purchased from here when it was a TSV back on 7/6/2022, and all have been recalled.  

To check if your BlendJet2 as been recalled, simply go to blendjet dot com. The announcement is right on the home page. You scroll down to "is my product recalled?" and follow the prompts. It walks you through the steps. Easy to do.

I just looked mine up and its been recalled.  When filling out the recall form, the date ordered is required. 

I don't remember when I bought it.  When I searched blendjet here, it comes up with zero results!  Guess the Q doesn't keep a listing of older orders.

What a pita - guess I'll have to call Blendjet or just take a loss on it.

If it helps I bought mine when it was a TSV on 05/12/2021. Maybe check old emails or credit  card history.

Yes, we got an e-mail notifying us of this!  I have only used mine a couple of times.  They told us what to do and we had to take pictures of the unit which was taken apart.  They are to send a new section of this thing.  It's always something that is being recalled!
