Well the last of the holiday ham is in the slow cooker and I hope it will make a tasty  ham & bean soup. I'm trying the Hurst 15 dried bean soup mixture for the first time, so fingers crossed. Has anyone here tried this soup mix ?

As I write, my crock pot is filled with ham, chopped celery, chopped carrots, onion AND the Hurst 15 dried soup mixture.  I have used the Hurst several times and always have a delicious pot of soup.  I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. SOUP'S ON! !!  Enjoy!

Hurst 15 bean soup mix is the only one I use.  Yummm.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

The 15 bean mix soup with ham is delicious!

However, I like to cook beans separately because I like the taste of the different beans.

@QVCkitty1   Sorry I haven't tried that bean mix.  We do however use leftover ham or a ham hock in either a big crockpot of white beans or navy beans.

I've not heard of this soup mix before. It must have different spices in it or something besides 15 different kinds of beans.

I made the 15 bean soup recipe on the back of the package, and it was awful! I went back to just cooking the 15 beans like you would pinto beans.
