Yes, it is great to use. My mom even had a molasses ginger cookie recipe that called for some. Qvc used to have a bacon grease container and I got it. It is perfect to put the bacon grease into and store in the refrigerator.

Recently found bacon grease in my Publix market.  Can't recall the price. My husband always liked fresh green beans cooked with a little bacon grease.
