Aldi's had 8 oz of Fit&Active quinoa in various flavors for $2.99. Very good quality-I rinse it first in a fine sieve, then toast it in a skillet. I cook it with Turmeric, veggies and a bit of sesame oil. 2 to 1 water ratio-simmer with a lid for 15 minutes.

I saw Seeds of Change Quinoa, the brand that's sold at BJ's.  That's on my grocery list for this week.  I usually make quinoa in a hot dish.  I'm going to try your method.
