@gardenman

and assume they know something I don't.

How novel...following the directions.  I rarely READ directions Smiley Surprised

But, maybe I should.  I don't think pre-heating would have made any difference today so I'm really not sure what happened.  Today's learning attempt didn't go as well as yesterday's.

Didn't preheat

Chicken pot pie

Used the Frozen mode for 9 minutes

Top was a toasty golden brown (little too brown for me but it looked picture perfect).

Stuck a fork in it and it was still frozen solid Smiley Surprised

Directions called for 395 for 12 minutes.

I cooked it for 9 (since everyone says cut back on cooking time)

As brown as it was I had to finish it in the mw.

What the heck? Smiley Sad

Thank you @okaywitheasypay

I looked for AF directions on both of the items I've cooked

but found none.  I don't know what happened today but it failed

as miserably as yesterday's trial suceeded.

I think I'll try some frozen "dough  boy" biscuits tonight Smiley Happy

I'll look into the silicone liners.  I have 123 more parchment liners to use

first.  I didn't know silicone liners existed.

Ohhh, nevermind!  I'm going to order a set today.  I see the significance in them now for heavier items.  Thanks so much!

Tried fresh broccoli in the air fryer today. Loved it! Seasoned it and tossed it.  Very good!

@monicakm at Amazon it will come up with many choices  if you put Air Fryer silicone Liners in the search. Mostly $10-ish$s for 2 or 3.

On the biscuits they get a bit crisp/golden with the full time--but we like that . I suppose if you like them 'doughier' lessen the time a bit and maybe temp?

I have e-mailed companies of my frequently used items pleading with them to get with the program and place AF instrutions on packaging.
