Hello ladies

The other day there was a conversation about a Cosori Air Fryer.  I think it was in this forum.  I'm thisclose to pulling the trigger on one.  Just going by the name "Air FRYER", is it for foods that one would normally fry?  What type of foods do you use in yours?  Thanks!

One other question.  If you have/had a toaster oven, does the air fryer take it's place?

@monicakm  The conversation was between you and me about the Cosori Pro !! I recommended. It is in the community chat forum in the thread titled: "Do you like practical Christmas gifts?" - post # 59.

It's not only for things you would fry, it is also for anything you would bake. An air fryer is basically a convection oven. I use it for everything - pork chops, shrimp, sausage, chicken,  salmon,  vegetables, reheating things... You can cook things right from the freezer, too.

@Susan Louise Thank you so much.  I would have never found it lol  I've got enough points saved up on Amazon that it would be no charge.  I'm looking at two.  The one you have and one for $10 more.  If they were the same price, which one would you choose?

Thank you @VanSleepy

My husband is a griller/smoker of meats.  I'm guessing a grilled ribeye and one done in the air fryer are not going to taste the same.  Of course steak isn't the only thing to consider.

@monicakm   The one I have...

You asked me a similar question in the other thread We don't need any of the added options and wouldn't use them.

Just watched a video on cleaning air fryers.  She had a Cosori and Phillips.  Phillips was harder to clean.

Atekcity, the importer of Cosori Air Fryer , has recalled more than 2 million because they can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards.  There have been over 205 reports catching fire, burning, overheating, melting and smoking according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission's recall notice.

I have a Ninja Air Fryer that air fries, bakes, reheats, broils, max crisp, air roast and dehydrate. I have had it for several years and love it. I cook most of my food using the air fryer.
