You firstly implied that she was stupid to buy something that wasn't in her usual style so no wonder she didn't like it, silly woman, and secondly that her opinion wasn't to be trusted as it was 'unbelievable'.

That "poor woman" you are talking about took her review opportunity and used it to trash all of Judith's line. It is so obvious that was her intent. Nothing wrong with saying something is cheap if you think so or you don't like the color.... but she was mad and wanted to get even for a bad decision SHE made....so why not just trash the whole line? I took Me2Me to be saying...."Hey ladies, don't give up on this ring because of one bad review". It might not have been the best thing to put under a discussion topic (here especially) but I find it interesting that you are so much harder on Me2Me when her intent wasn't to harm anyone...... just help.

I used to collect Ripka years ago, when she used gemstones exclusively. Not all pieces that I received were stellar, some DID look cheap and inferior and were sent back. Unfortunately the quality control at QVC leaves much to be desired; and that's were the blame should be placed. If a piece were not to a viewer's liking, Judith would want the customer to return it.

Honestly, you can't take an opposing view personally. Many things I love others dislike. There's no reason to take it any further.

They're just reviews.

And I'm happy you're pleased with your purchase. It's just not worth your time to sweat the small stuff.

Just for the record, I am not a "ripkanista". I own one pendant from when she first started and rarely even watch. Too big of a deal was made about this post. To me she was trying to give a "heads up" to others who might be on the fence. I really think it was that simple and if I do say so myself, that so called "review" was a more a "rant" than a review. OK, I guess I have said that enough now.....I gave it my best shot and I'm outta here.

If I were to buy a JR ring (or any designer ring for that matter) with a gemstone for the price of 143 & change, I would be hesitant that the stone would be inferior because of the price. I would consider that before purchasing but if I did and I recieved a richly colored saturated stone that would be a plus at that price point. The OP is lucky she got such a beautiful ring for the price. Enjoy!

So just maybe that 1 Star review was an honest point of view from that posters perspective and just maybe, she recieved an inferior stone & was so disappointed & upset, hence the 1 Star. Ya think?
