I don' watch turquoise on Q or really other jewelry. I, too, love matrix even just a bit. I've bought turquoise jewelry for years and didn't know about sleeping beauty.

Sylvia, Sleeping Beauty used to only be used by the Zuni for their petite point work. Nobody else used it because matrix was desirable. Then along came TV shopping and it was perfect because it was uniform and everyone got the same thing. The more one knows about turquoise, the more desirable interesting matrix and color become.
