@Mom2Dogs It's definitely the heat!  Same here!   

I just recently had my mom's gold band re-sized for me so that I can wear it next to mine.  Her finger was about a size 4.5,  so tiny  ....   she weighted only 80 lbs when she passed.  Her band is thin, so I was glad they were able to make it bigger.

I agree.  I never liked the halo style.  I am surprised it has lasted this long.  I think it detracts from the center stone.  Just my opinion.
