I love the look of both the necklace and the ring.  The ring is a little smaller scale than many of the JAI gemstone rings.  I love that!  Also, the gemstones look so good surrounded by diamonds.  I once ordered the necklace that was similar but just the gemstone without diamonds.  I ordered it in blue topaz but had to return due to the washed out color of the stone.  I always wanted that necklace, but now I think that this one will be great for me.  The color seems better, as it is now called sky blue topaz.  Also, it is 16 inches at its shortest.  The other one was 18 inches or longer.  This style just screams choker, so I am so happy about the length.  I love the extender as that increases the versality.  I can't wait to get it!

Nice TSV but I'm a gold finish girl. I very very seldom wear anything silver. I have silver jewelry given to me as gifts so I say thanks and wear them  every now and then to show my appreciation.  Enjoy your new jewelry !

One of the interesting features about the JAI and other Bali style jewelry is that some have touches of gold incorporated into the design. This includes some of the Barbara Bixby pieces that I own.

I often wear mixed metal jewelry - it looks contemporary and stylish. It expands my options for shopping and for wearability

@Chi-town girl   Exactly!  and a lot of the times the gold accents are 18K.  I enjoy wearing pieces that mix metals  Truthfully I have authentic DY & JH pieces and mix the JAI in with them.  My favorites are always the ones that mix the silver and gold.  It's the weight of these pieces that I enjoy too.

Something about Scott that just irritates me.  His stories about his Mom-isms are as bad as the complaints about Jane and her daughters.

@nova   I do the same thing. I wear many bangles at a time and mix my Yurman with other bangles that are Jai, JH and a few silver without gold. I think it looks "collected" that way.

@Shanus  I bet you have a beautiful collection!  Most of my good pieces were gifts over many years & I used to save them for special occassions.  Now I wear what I want just to make myself happy.
