Re: Facelifts in general. The doc always requests/suggests that if want to lose any weight, even 10 lbs., do it before surgery. Loss of weight after surgery causes sagging skin again.

I remember many here who would get so excited to see Judith and her TSVs.  It was like a party and many of the Ripkanistas would get together for lunch and visit Judith at her store in NYC.

Things changed a quite a bit when she sold her company and closed her stores in NYC.  Plus her prices here on the Q went sky high!  I bought a lot of her jewelry about 10 or so years ago and rarely wear most of it now except a watch that I'm very fond of.

Wow It is kind of sad.  I wish her well.

I remember the good old days when you could get a really nice piece for like $50.  Now it's all so expensive for the most part.  I'm glad I collected as much as I did.  I have some amazing pieces from JR.

I came to the party late today, why did Judith say she can't be on anymore?

She said she’s enjoying her life in Florida at this stage, and no more snowy winter traveling.  Between her and Rick, they have said more than five times that she is not retiring.  She wanted to make that perfectly clear — not retiring.   She will be designing and her jewelry will still be on QVC (and I assume HSN too), but she won’t be making the trips to be on air any longer.

I used to love JP jewelry until it started sounding like tin and breaking or losing stones far too often.  Like Michael Hawkings.... I simply stopped buying.

Ms Judith is doing her very last show right now with none other than her very fav Rick D. She's retiring to Florida. I'm imaging whatever goods are here now will be the last of her lovely designs.

She looks wonderful. Wishing Judith the very best in her future with her family.

Oh, I see, I wish her every happiness, but I will miss her very much. I have many of her pieces both QVC and Judith Ripka Two and I love them very much. I feel a weird sad feeling that she will never be on QVC again.

I disagree with those who felt she was insincere, I always felt that she is a caring person and very loving to her family and friends.

She has left a positive mark on the world and I hope her jewelry will continue to give its wearers pleasure. I know I will continue to cherish my pieces.
