@shopperqvcOne of the problems with getting old and still having a brain (sometimes) is that we remember the old prices.

I can't imagine I'll see gold drop to a price I'm willing to pay ever again in my life.  But that also won't happen to the price of a loaf of bread or a pound of ground beef or a gallon of gas.  Worst of all, from my standpoint, is the humongous increase in the cost to take advantage of all the technology that has entered our lives.   I can live well with no more jewelry, but I haven't figured out how to avoid much of those other kinds of expenses.

You are so right! I’m so tired of the same things over and over...I know the price of good jewelry has gone up, but the Q doesn’t seem to care about those of us who really want and are able to spend money on jewelry.

They're not even really trying to bring in any new jewelry lines, and it's quite apparent the Q "designers" can't come up with anything that the audience wants.
