I for one can't stand & now just turn the channel when Antonella is hosting...that act of loving every item like she is looking at a tall glass of water in the desert is getting old. However none of this is as annoying as the fashion shows...When they say "I'm wearing a small" how exactly is that helping a TV viewer? I have mostly stopped all network shopping...S&H out of hand..I haven't had a balance on my CC for so long, the company will probably send my husband a sympathy card soon.

If I was a show host I'm surely not going to present a piece of jewelry and say it's ugly or unattractive and please don't buy this. Antonella is sales woman and I think that job's description is to sell merchandise. if they changed the rules, please let me know.

My pet peeve is that they have to show like 50 bracelets and rings and hardly any earrings or necklaces.

Thanks for reminding me, nycrhythm! That's another thing that annoys me. I like a nice necklace or pendant and earring set. Bracelets are OK, but I guess everyone in the world buys a lot of rings because there are almost always a bazillion of them and no gemstone pendants. What's up with that?

I know the word "diamond" is a magic word in the jewelry world. That's why so many pieces have a tiny crummy quality diamond added to them, so they can be called a diamond-accent piece. I can't tell you how many pieces of jewelry I have refused to buy because the quality of that accent destroys the look of the piece.

I'm tardy to this party but I can't help offering my 2 cents worth, I couldn't agree more with sciencegeek's post! Diamonds don't do much for me, but I go nuts for colored gemstones. Stop already with the cheezy, low-quality diamond accents and give me a bigger gemstone!

I'm still waiting for someone to say to me, "Ooh! Is that a ... diamond accent?" rather than "I love that amethyst pendant you're wearing". No one notices those stupid piddly diamond chips.

I do like pearls with diamond accents, though.

she did the same with the Leather Like bracelet...

IT IS NOT LEATHER...NEITHER OF THEM ARE....BE HONEST...JR...I AM SURE MANY CUSTOMERS ARE PURCHASING AND WILL BE DISSAPOINTED WHEN THEY RECEIVE THEM....

my pet peeves, the back of the ring is rarely shown, or only for a split second. I want to know if there is a full under gallery or if the band is all hollowed out. I want to see the very back of the band to see how narrow it gets. Sometimes the host claims these quite thin backs can be sized up 2 sizes....only if you're comfortable wearing gold thread! LOL!

I dislike when the hosts say something along the lines of: "the undergallery is open so all the light can come through" when in fact there is no undergallery to save on the metal! (I know I know, sales techniques LOL!)

In addition, the quality of the diamond accents are never mentioned, sometimes not even online! Most appear to be gray warmer colored and i2 or I3! Don't bother with these type of diamond accents, all they do is detract as someone else mentioned, used white zircon as is done on one channel, or use fewer but higher quality diamonds.

The claims (not qvc hosts) of AAA Tanzanite when obviously it is no such thing! I really like that QVC has the GIA look at samples....
