I love jewelry, but haven't seen anything I'd like to buy today.  I, too, have rope chains purchased when gold prices were reasonable.

I'm going to buy the 30" chain because I don't have one that length.  I have other rope chains from years gone by that would look great layered with it.  Other than that, nothing much that makes me want to jump on it right away.  Maybe a pair of earrings.  I got several lovely estate pieces from DH for Christmas and the novelty of wearing them hasn't worn off yet.  The "I want something new" itch will happen soon enough.
