You might call QVC first and ask them if they have a comparable bracelet in stock. I've heard they have sent a replacement over the years.
I have had no problems using the warranty. Aurafin Co. is not Eternagold - Leach and Garner Co., they have a contract to do the repair or replacement. I was told they do not have office staff to handle phone calls.
When I sent my jewelry in I sent photos of the damaged item and wrote a letter detailing what I would accept as a replacement (giving examples of what Q had in stock). I also had the weight detailed in the letter. Further, I gave my phone number and email address...and I did hear back from them since I asked them to email me.
The replacements came with a description with the weight noted and my pieces were slightly heavier in weight. Let them know it is unacceptable for them to send a lesser wt. item.
I would send the item back USPS Priority Mail (free boxes or mailing bags in the lobby) which is tractable on line, and insure the piece for the full amount.
Good luck with your return. I hope you are as satisfied as I have been with their service. I did have one wait period of about 6 weeks around the holidays if I recall.
