EBay jewelry sellers that specialize in QVC brands like Honora, Ripka, Bixby, AW will buy those empty jewelry boxes in big lots, priced cheap, of course, but it gets them out of your closet and you get a few bucks for them instead of just throwing them away.

The only box that I've kept is the one that the ring that my Dad had made for my Mom for their 50th wedding anniversary came in. Not a prestige name, just a local, independent jewler. But it's an absolutely breathingly beautiful piece with 50 diamonds in it, so it deserves more than just a space in my jewelry box. 

 

Everything else, I trash the box and put the piece in my jewelry box. 

~Not new, never been banned. Every time I take a break I have to re-register for some reason~
