Well, Terrier3, they might be heavy compared to some other earrings out there, but my lobes can handle heavier earrings. I need larger earrings, actually, to cover up my lobes. I cannot wear small earrings as they literally won't go on my ears.

These earrings duplicate her Monaco earrings in her 18k line. Beautiful.

Yes, I am going to find someone to convert mine to pieced earrings. I hope the cost is not "out there" expensive to do so. I have about 12 pairs. Most are sterling silver. Thanks for the response.

bonnielu....good luck with that. I had to have an antique sterling silver earring repaired after I ran it over. It was originally a screw back, I had it converted to pierced. The jeweler was not sure it would survive the heat from the little torch they use. Sometimes, they can solder it, other times they "weld" it. Maybe sammycat or smarty will chime in here, as our resident experts. Anyway, it did survive.

There is a man in south Florida who sells earring accessories online. His website is the earring doctor. Com. ( except all run together). He sells discs that keep the heavy earrings from falling forward, a system to use if your earlobe is stretched or torn (so you can still wear your earrings) and converter kits to convert pierced to clip and clip to pierce. He also has comfort pillows to keep the clips from pinching. I've used the discs that keep the heavy earrings from falling forward and also the system that allows you to wear your pierced earrings with a torn lobe. I haven't used his converter kits. He is very nice and helpful , ships out right away and his products are extremely reasonable. I have no personal involvement other than purchasing his products and being very satisfied with them. His $3-$4 product opens the possibilities for me to spend hundreds of dollars on earrings that I thought I wouldn't be able to wear again! Hmmm.

newjerseygirl: I have this same necklace but in the aventurine. It was the first necklace I purchased from Judith and still love it today. Seems like they just don't make them like this anymore so even happier now that I have it.

I will order the larger more rectangular rose quartz earrings. Have a RQ ring from Judith from years ago which is rectangular and with this being modeled from her 18k Monaco line, I can't resist. The price here is much better as well....not 10k. Yikes! Smiley Wink
