I think those of you who are in places where it gets super hot, are smart to have the Plantation Shutters, I love those and did have them in my 1st home......

 

I have wooden blinds in my kitchen, but just regular blinds in the bedrooms, and actually drapes in my Living Room.....We don't have pets, and I can actually Machine wash my drapes and I do that twice a year......

What are your opinions on Roman Shades. I was thinking of putting these on some of my windows because there is nothing on the window when pushed up and they somewhat disappear. However was thinking of putting either black out curtains or wood blinds in bedrooms. Any thoughts or should I make it all uniform.
