I agree with those that said a darker rug would help. Still not loving light furniture with light walls. I prefer a bit of contrast. I don't like the grey ottoman with the cream colors.

This look is so appealing to me. It's just where I'm at in my own decor, so it speaks to me. 

 

That big ottoman thing looks grey on my monitor, and I have to say, it doesn't really go with the rest of the room in my opinion.

I like the bones of the room, love the fireplace and the windows, but too much furniture in it for me.... and a white sofa is just impractical....
