There is so much to love in this home.  Much of the furniture is beautiful, the entryway, window seats, drapes, art work, the warmth and comfort of it all!  I could easily move in and the icing on the cake is the location, one of my favorite states.  

 

As far as painting over wood , in general I wouldn't   I have always liked the look of vintage wood and wouldn't paint over it.  Just my taste.
