But im happy. Full amount. I had just printed off the return label from the site and pasted it on the box. The only thing I was out, was the time in doing it all. Just glad got it all back! Smiley Happy

Oh and never received any paper work for the recall yet either. I wonder if anyone has yet. But now that mine is returned, I shouldn't get it.

Glad to hear things worked out for you as well. I was waiting for two weeks for some letter with instructions. The customer service rep emailed me the return labels and told me, when I asked, that I would receive a full refund. That's why I was questioning the original amount I saw listed. Luckily I did save both boxes. I'm glad I checked and now I see the full amount is listed as refunded.

The so called letter with instructions never did show up. {#emotions_dlg.laugh} This does prove how we have to be our own advocates with customer service.

Probably last update for this. I just received my credit card statement and I did see a charge of $10.95 for the cost of return. I phoned customer service and I've been credited back to my credit card. So be sure to double check your statements when they arrive that you haven't been charged the $10.95.

Hello ladies. I just remembered, I need to post an update to this thread. I did return my Duraflame heater a few weeks ago, and I received a credit to my card. They did not charge me return shipping, I put a note inside the box and explained to them that I had received a phone call about the recall. So, I was glad to get my credit and get it sent back.

I never received a letter from customer service, about the recall or detailing any information on how to return the heater or anything about what was wrong with it. So, I guess they just never sent out the letters.

I will miss my heater! I really liked it, and was disappointed that I had to return it.
