I just received a call from QVC Customer service (recorded msg) saying there have been complaints about over heating and possible fires. We're to stop using this immediately and they'll be sending out further instructions. I purchased two of these and it's funny, I have noticed a little order when I click on 1500 heat but assumed it was due to it not being used at that temp for a while. Thank God nothing ever happened. Always kept them unplugged when not in use. I just tied up both cords and will wait to see what they want us to do. Luckily I do have the Duraflame boxes they came in.
I definitely just want a refund and am not interested in a new one. So please stop using...

Someone else just started a thread on this. Please be safe and don't use them.

I didn't know there was another thread on this. Thank you.

Which small heater. Can you give me item number or post a picture please. I purchased a ""small"" heater but not sure it is one you are speaking about. Thanks.

I also just received the phone message to stop using the heater. I had it on at the time. When I unplugged it the plug-in was hot which surprised me. I disconnected it and will wait for the instructions. I appreciate getting a call.

Of course...I tried to edit original post but a reply was already listed. Here's the item number: V32316. There's a prior thread already started on this as well.
Apparently Customer Service wasn't too responsive about there being a refund. I purchased two of these in the black and I sure don't want a replacement. A refund is the way to go.

I was very happy about the call as well. I noticed that the plug did seem a little warm but I always unplugged when not in use. Still...we're all very fortunate nothing happened.

There is a picture of the heater on the other thread, someone posted so people can see which one it is.
