Re: These things always come in three...

@151949

Isnt this the truth...I had my 3 moment last month:

1.  Microwave stopped working

2. Ice Maker broke : flooded my fridge & kitchen (still fighting Samsung about warranty ...2 years old🤬🤬🤬).  making ice cubes -- back to the old way

3. Water Heater : burst😳.  Thank goodness I was home my garage (just completely remodeled & epoxied the floor) flooded. but, not as bad as would have been if I was still n vacation in Vegas

Now, this month I'm waiting for the 3 good things to come my way:

1. MegaMillion winnng numbers

2. Cousins & friends to celebrate my bday

3. Just enjoying new lifestyle...

Ill take more good things if it's "meant to be!". Otherwise, I'm just waiting for another appliance to go bad -- now that they're 5 years old...

Re: These things always come in three...

@homedecor1 Our house is 8 years old now so I guess that is the time you get from things these days. We are keeping a wary eye on the fridge! And my cousin jury rigged a fix when my DW broke so I expect that to fail any time now . Replaced the washer 3 years ago so now I am thinking the dryer is probably nearing it's built in obsolescence as well.

My fridge, DW , stove, microwave, disposal and dryer are all still original. I have neighbors who have already replaced all their appliances. Knocking on wood that they won't all go bad at once. They had a deal when we bought this place that they would give the appliances for free, so you know they are not the best money can buy. When we replace them we do try to buy the best we can afford.

sad isn't it .... but they don't make things like they used too!  This is why I will never buy "high end" anymore...my appliances were 5 years old in May with the exception of fridge.

Keeping my 🤞🏻crossed for you!
