@Elodie2   Good eye!

I agree with you, it is magnificent!

I like the staircase. The wood and railing are beautiful. I also love the floor and the wall color. The cabinet, chairs, and lamp are very nice. I'd replace the grey rug with a warmer color.

I don't mind the photos, but I don't like them in this space.

I don't like the chandelier, gold framed painting, or bust.

I think this is a beautiful foyer. The staircase, floors, and furniture are stunning. Really like the chandelier and the color combo, too. It is a little busy looking for my taste so I would either do away with the pictures along the staircase or the mirror.  Not sure which of these I'd choose to take away. Hmmmm?

I like all the elements that comprise this foyer other than the carpet, which would need to be changed out. Also, while I like all the elements, I don't necessarily like them all together in this setting. I'd do some editing and rearranging, but I do love the staircase.

I'd get rid of the gold framed photo its too much of a contrast ...... with that gone the star would be the staircase....

There are elements of this staircase (just the staircase, not anything else in the room or decor) that are beautiful like the contrast of the dark wood with the painted. And I'm more inclined to want elegant wood railing and spindles (not sure what they are really called). The metal is too much of a contrast for me, and not substantial enough in size/width. They look too small and thin.

It's pretty, but it could be better.
