I bought this item from Etsy a while ago. I scoured online until I found the container that was "just right." Unfortunately, when I asked for measurements of the panels, the seller provided the measurements from the diagonal, not the height/width of the side of the panel so the item that I had envisioned with it won't fit.
It's been sitting on my dining room table since I was not in school, and now that I have a few moments of free time, I'm going to transform it.
Here is the original item.
If you would like to play along...
What is this going to be used for?
How will it be transformed?

I have a few things that are brass that belonged to my mother. I also have some silver pieces.
I polished all of them up. They look really pretty.
A few I put in the China cabinet. The ones without lids I put in artificial flowers (my daughter did when she was here for a few months).
The one with a lid, I put candy that each piece was individually wrapped.
My daughter is one of those people who can take a rag and make it look beautiful. She didn't get her decorating ability from me.
I have no talent at all. Everything in my house (furniture, etc) stays the same way from the day it entered the house.
It's kinda like...'which came first..the chicken or the egg'. Except in my case it is...'which came first my inability to decorate...or the fact that I find it boring'.

@Desertdi I'd put those in a vodka bottle where he'd be happy.

What do you think I am going to do to it?
The possibilities are too numerous.
Can you give us a hint?
