@lolakimono  Looks like a unique handcrafted piece you would find in Pennsylvania Dutch Country.  The idea is very charming.

Interesting idea and nice craftsmanship! 

 

My nieces and nephew sat on my lap when I read to them individually. As they got older, or if I was reading to more than one at the same time, we sat on the sofa. Always loved reading (and singing) with them. They are in their 30s and 40s now.
