I have to say, while I can usually understand all the many points of view the house and home posts generate even when I don't necessarily agree, I have to admit to being a bit mystified by some of the comments this one has precipitated... But as always, we all see though our own eyes...

I love the view! I like the architecture more than the furnishings. I'd prefer more color. It's a bit too much wood for me.

I've never understood the mixing of rustic and more elegant/refined. But I've always been drawn in. This room does just that!
