@Enufstuff - So beautiful! Reminds me of growing up in Georgia. I'm not really a "blue" person, but I love your cushions. I'll take a glass of sweet tea, thank you, and I look forward to seeing you and everyone else when we take "road trips" to your home!

@SurferWife  This is where I've done a lot of butt planting since

I retired two years ago, especially with covid out there and not going much of anywhere for two years. I love to sit and read

outside on the porch. We also like having dinner on the porch.

    North of Boston, we have a limited season of porch usage. With all the pine trees, we don't sit outside or clean the porch until all the pollen stops after the middle of June. It is still warm here  through September.

   A porch in SC would be perfect, unless it gets too humid. If it is humid here, I am inside in the air conditioning. Humidity

makes me feel ill.

@beach-mom  Thank you. The Sunbrella cushions came from

Cushion Connection. Seeing them online, I thought that they would be a nice aqua. They are actually a little more green than I expected, but they work. The color is called Gavin Mist.

    You have probably seen a lot of blue or aqua porch ceilings

in Georgia. I have always loved seeing ceilings painted like that.

They were not that color when we bought the house 40 years ago.

     When I had the house painted years ago, I chose the aqua for ceiling paint. I love it. A few years ago, I read about the southern origins of "Haint Blue" on porch ceilings. It was very interesting that it came from the Gullah Geechee. I always thought that it was to mimic the color of the sky, but the color

was used to keep away evil spirits or "Haints". Who knew?

      I can have a pitcher of iced sweet tea and maybe some cookies when you get here. That would be fun.

@Enufstuff ......This is just so beautiful ........everything  that I aspire to decor wise. Is it a wrap around porch? Would love to see your interior. Am I being too nosy? LOL
