I agree, @jubilant --  I'm drawn to the "cleaner",  somewhat less accessorized look of the second one.  There's still enough there for interest.  The way the black mirror over the mantel "echoes" the black cabinet is a clever touch, I think.

I like this one, the third.

The blue-striped rug "gathers" everything together.

I am almost always a fan of lots of books. The shelves, in spite of their height, seem to ground the room and set off the outside view better than #2.

It seems comfortable and livable.
