If it was sitting alone in a giant field that cars driving by could see from a distance then yes it would put a smile on my face.
If it was 10 feet away from my home ..no way. The view would get old real quick.

It's interesting, but I do hope the owner lives on a secluded acre+ property or checked with his neighbors before painting his barn.
Among other problems, looking at it reminded me of a home in my hometown that the owners painted neon green. They lived on a narrow property, so on sunny days their neighbors had neon green shadows. Even I who likes neon tops to wear wouldn't do that to my neighbors.

It made me squint, actually hurt my eyes looking at it. Too bright and too much going on. I think it would give me a headache if I looked at too long.
I prefer softer looks, serene colors.

beats the old Mail Pouch Tobacco (?) advertising old time farmers used to allow on their barns in the midwest when I was a child.

I love it! The burst of color, and interpretation of flowers is both uplifting, and creative. I say just sit back and enjoy the whimsy.

Nope! Don't like the first barn and have come to think that these garish murals so popular now (Like in Laurel on Home Town) and other "art" is hideous.
Why? Because everyone has to see them and they detract from the architecture (even if it isn't great--it is what it is) of a small town, and takes away from the beauty of nature in a large way.
We have to be overwhelmed by everything now, too garish, too loud, too in your face. There is no subtlety in our culture and we don't appreciate the ordinary enough.
