That is something I had thought about also, twopeas. Great suggestion.

O/T again:
twopeas, You got my wheels turning on the lighting subject. I found this true semi-flush mount on Lowes website. It's one of the very few I see that could be decorated a little:

Adorable. Good find. That would be so cute. Ooooh, I could almost see that in my bedroom, too.
There are a gazillion to choose from, huh? I looked through pages and pages on line to find one that suited our purpose. Thanks for sharing.

I couldn't find my receipt, but tried to find something similar on-line. This is from LighingDirect.com. I had our electrician take almost all of the chain off to raise it. So, you would want to look for semi flush ceiling lights. Look at the measurements that would be from the tallest part of the center to the bottom of the globe and then you would need about another 4" from the top of the detail to the ceiling housing. From our ceiling to the bottom of the globs is 17" and no one has bumped their head. LOL. I chose the amber color globes as is shown in this picture. There are tons and tons to choose from, just have to watch the hanging length. I love ours. PS I chose three lights that each hold 100 W bulbs to get as much light in the room as possible.
This is the same chandelier that I almost bought to go above my new long table in my new kitchen, but ended up getting one at Pottery Barn. I couldn't believe how difficult it was to find the right one, as I looked through thousands, bought a few, and had to return them. Lamps Plus is another good place to look at lighting, bought a few Tiffany style small lamps there recently, also Amazon has tons of lighting fixtures, all styles, bought some small lamps there also.
I knew when I purchased it that it's actually an island light, but with the bronze finish and amber lights, it actually looks nice. I also wanted to be able to gain a lot of light. This one is able to accommodate 100 W bulbs in each fixture.

I like it also, kept going back to the store to look at it, and if there had been better service, I probably would have bought it, but in the end, since I was going for low light ambiance, I didn't buy it, and as I mentioned, bought a chandelier from Pottery Barn. I opted for a fan with light over my island, and it is the best move I made in the new kitchen. No air conditioning here, so this is a lifesaver. People told me to put pendant lighting over the sink, and all I could think of was the extra cleaning required, so opted for two cans like the rest of the ceiling, and they are fine.

That's great news, Moon Dance. Thanks for the update. I'm also glad you posted the code. I just saw the email and was coming here to do the same.
