Re: Martha Stewart - Halloween - On Now!

I have been a fan of Martha's ever since she began umpteen years ago. She never fails to make Halloween special... I love everything, but wow, a little pricey for me.

Great programming QVC.  Really enjoyed it.  Martha and Carolyn perfect together.

Re: Martha Stewart - Halloween - On Now!

I can't see the show so I just looked at her things on line. I loved that skull candle when I first saw it last year, the one with the candle behind the eyes.  But way too expensive for something I would only display for 2 months.  Plus I haven't had luck with luminara candles. I have 3 and all have  stopped working.  I can't understand how something that just sits can break.  It's not as if I'm playing catch with them.

@Kitty Galore  Yes, I was surprised she said that. However she has 3 cats, 2 that get bathed and combed every week and one that lives in the greenhouse. A black cat that came into the yard one day and never left. He hangs around with the garden crew.

@proudlyfromNJ   I'm glad to hear that ,   I did know that she was a dog lover ,   And now that youve said it  I seem to remember that years ago she had Maine Coons or maybe Ragdolls😏?   How on earth I wonder does she bath her cats?    I would not even attempt that with ours lol🙀

@Kitty Galore  She has shown the process on her blog. Her Housekeeper baths them usually I think.

Re: Martha Stewart - Halloween - On Now!

Martha always has great things but I find them too pricey.  I have picked up things on Lunchtime Specials or clearance and they are always great quality.  I have cut back big time on seasonal display items now that I am an empty nester.  I gave a lot away and only put out a few things.

Re: Martha Stewart - Halloween - On Now!

It was enjoyable watching Martha & Carolyn today......but i really couldn't get over the costs of the products.....kept thinking you could find comparable products at a much lower price...................i watched for a good part of the hour and didn't see anything under $49.00..........i did miss the beginning of the show so maybe some items more reasonably priced presented then..............figure tax and shipping which was no lower than $5.50 from what i saw and thats $60 and over for one skull head, small lit pumpkin, the two 5 & 6 inch pinecones....etc

It was an enjoyable show. The Pine cone and candle filled pumpkin luminara's I loved. I liked the scaredy cats too. Not in my budget, but if I had my picks, those would of been my 3.

Re: Martha Stewart - Halloween - On Now!

Loved seeing all the new Halloween goodies!  I bought the witch, cauldron, and cat.  I've always liked the silhouettes she did, that were in her magazine years ago.  I figured the price (which is pricey), was cheaper than risking my husband's sanity if he made them.Woman LOL
