Re: Less is More: Which Two Items Would you Edit Out?

I would keep it all.  What a great room in a house in the tropics.

The wallpaper and the chairs in front of the sliding doors.

It was toss up for me...the heavy drapes and green chairs would also have to go.

Good grief it's hideous but since I can only pick 2 I'll remove the hanging light that looks a fan & all the wallpaper....I never like wallpaper on the ceiling.

The room has interesting bones; although I do not like anything in it. From the view shown, there is too much furniture blocking movement.  I get the feeling that once someone would get inside the seating area you would be landlocked.

Lots of that room is not a style I favor, but assuming it were, I would still eliminate the large pattern beind the sofa (wallpaper?) and find a less busy chandelier.

Wow this room is a mess. Only two things? Well the chairs by the window and one couch.

@lolakimono

Are you sure you didn't mean 2 DOZEN items you would edit?

That living room gives me a headache, it is so cluttered.

I'd eliminate the open upper shelf area by sheetrocking it in.  Secondly, strip the dramatic wallpaper and paint a creamier color than the current stark white.

The wall coverings and the furniture.  Two!
