Tough choice but to simplify the style:
Ceiling wallpaper (or whatever that is)
Curtains

The first two would be the hideous light and wall paper but other items would follow.

Hm...where to start. It's tough because I don't really like anything about this room. But to try to answer your question..The ceiling print, the wall murals, the baskets under the side table/console. Those 3 pots on those top shelves. But...I really dislike everything about this room. Sorry...couldn't pick just two..

Agreed. Take it all out and start over, with only a 1/3 of the stuff. Less chairs too. Eek. Really hate it all. Don't like the vibe, style of furniture, colors (hate gray walls) ...but I'd (try) to simplify it ALL. yuck.

@Sooner Perfect answer!

imo - There needs to be more than just 2 items removed but I'd start with the two grey chairs since they block the path to the door, etc.

@lolakimono : Not for me. Empty room and start over.

How do you even get through that room? Every entrance/exit is blocked by either a chair or a table. The two chairs next to the window are blocking the door. The other two chairs along with the side table and baskets blocks a path from the door which should go behind the other chairs. The brass barrel in the foreground blocks entrance to the center of the room. Another table blocks entry from the arched entryway on the right.

I would get rid of the wall paper, and the wicker.
