I like this one except for that winding staircase!  Would be a dealbreaker for me!

@DSD2 --  your keen eye picks up on all the little bespoke details that together, give this getaway its allure.

@Iwantcoffee ,  right, that's it!   The colors and patterns inside, have a harmonious relationship with those outside...

@DREAMON and @ECBG --  You are right on, I also was less receptive to the kitchen, (except the floor).  Couldn't quite put my finger on it...

Re: LAKESIDE HOUSE IN NORTH CAROLINA

Beautiful views from so many of the rooms and the porch.

The L-shaped couches on the porch and in the family room get in the way of the views, and also impede quick easy access to the outside banisters and windows.  Would prefer swivel chairs so one can swivel around to face the interior of the house or the view.

The outside wrap-around walkway that is visible from some of the rooms is a nice feature.

Guess if they get tired of the X artwork, they can rotate the two paintings to make a "W", a diamond shape, or some other pattern, not that they would necessarily be an improvement so Y bother.

Ha, ha, very clever, @QVCisFun -- were it my art piece, I'd probably experiment with those different configurations you suggest.  I get bored with things looking the same all the time.

I have an oversize, Robert Delaunay print in my living room--

Trouble is, whoever framed mine, framed it upside down, so mine has the yellow backgrounds at the bottom, with the blue at the top....   I'm good with it-- I just always love and am drawn to, vaguely Cubist shapes and blocky splashes of color, however they're arranged...

Re: LAKESIDE HOUSE IN NORTH CAROLINA

@Oznell  .  I wonder how that happened that they framed your print upside down.  I would think there might be clues on the painting as to top and bottom, such as a painter's signature on the front, or some writing on the back of the canvas.

My husband mentioned that there are some famous paintings that were erroneously hung upside down.  A couple of examples:  Piet Mondrian's "New York City", and Vincent van Gogh's "Long Grass With Butterflies".

I'm glad that you are good with the results.  It is a nice piece of art, very colorful.  I showed my mom your print and asked her what she thought and she said she liked it and said "you know me, I'm always attracted to color."

I did some research.  Robert Delaunay's wife, Sonia Delaunay, did a painting similar to the one that you posted by him.  But there are some differences.

Looking at Robert's painting in your post, his signature (it's blurry but it looks like it could be a signature) appears in the bottom-right blue section.  Looking at Sonia's painting, posted below, her signature appears in the bottom-right yellow section:

Here they are side by side for easier comparison:

Very nice house and gorgeous views! I like most of the rooms, colors, and furnishings. Like a few others posted, I find the kitchen underwhelming.

Those are fun facts about inadvertently upside down paintings, @QVCisFun --  didn't know about them!

Re: LAKESIDE HOUSE IN NORTH CAROLINA

Beautiful home, and I love the decor. I'm not a big fan of the kitchen though. Generally lake homes and lake views don't thrill me but this one is an exception.
